I made a list of everything I’d have to buy for my best friend’s bridal shower, and then once I had that, I got to work. At the top of the list was getting a birthday party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The bridal shower invitations were really nice with silver writing on the front and pearl embossed borders. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and bachelorette party invitations, too, along with other things.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. The wedding guest book was another present I purchased; it would help the couple keep good records of who gave them which gifts. One style of place card holders caught my fancy. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. When placed on the tables at the shower alongside the gifts and things, they looked cool There’s no type of party that doesn’t have a gift box designed for it. Flower decorations were on the containers I picked out, and I put them all on a serving dish on the table that held the gifts. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. The favors and invitations I bought were a bargain. I paid a fraction of what I had expected, I had lots of accessories to choose from and I didn’t have to go with inferior products. Since the website also sold wedding invitations and favors, I let my friend who was about to get married know about it, since I was sure she could use a wide selection to pick from. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The bridal shower was a sensation, and everyone there liked their shower favors, too. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So my decision was made. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding favor ideas for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.
Custom Wedding Silver Bells!
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009There was the sound of wedding bells, the tossing of rose petals, and the traditional run for the limo while friends and family cheered us on. That’s the way our ceremony went. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and everything turned out just like I wanted it, thanks to all the super accessories I was able to get. With all the exceptional accessories and supplies at my disposal there was no way this wedding and reception wouldn’t be a success.
Everything from the lovely invitations to the fantastic party favors for our guests was in their wonderful collection of wedding supplies. The silver print was a lovely touch to our invitations. There was a gorgeous flower girl basket and ring pillow among all the accessories that I decided to buy for our ceremony. It was a beautiful satin garnet color and included a wedding guest book, pen set and wedding garter. A five piece wedding set that wasn’t very expensive at all.
I also picked out an aisle runner along with other accessories for our wedding. The process of selecting the wedding bell was really a great one. After we were pronounced man and wife, everyone at the ceremony rang their little bells as we walked back down the aisle. It was really a unique idea.
The accessories for our wedding ceremony wasn’t all I ordered, I also got our supplies for our reception there too. There was a marvelous selection of reception accessories to pick from. I have this thing for shiny things, and I found a lot of crystal glassware, including beautiful champagne flutes for our reception tables. I ordered special flutes for us that said bride and groom on them, and beautiful twisted stemmed flutes for all of our guests. Bell weddings really made our tables shine with elegance, and I thought it would be a nice gift for our guests as a little something extra to show our appreciation.
There were so many lovely accessories, that I really wanted to buy them all, but that would have been going a little overboard on the décor. Glass coasters was our choice of wedding favor gifts for our guests. They were specially designed with a calla lilie on each one. I also chose these very elegant looking favor boxes with a little thank you tag on them, for the wedding favors. The silver favor boxes, along with all the other accessories on the tables, really added to the décor. On each reception table was a centerpiece I made up of lovely flowers and some very elegant candles.
On a smaller table at the of our long table, was our fantastically designed wedding cake. A beautiful wedding topper sat on top of our chocolate cherry three tiered wedding cake. Our topper was really exquisite, with calla lilies and a beautiful ribbon, tied in a bow. Everything at our reception turned out to be perfect. With all the tons of wedding pictures we had, I finally had to order another wedding album to store them all in. There were so many shots of us with our wedding cake and the traditional cutting and sharing of the very first piece. There were also pictures of our first dance together as man and wife, our guests on the dance floor and an adorable picture of the flower girl and ring boy dancing together.
I’m so glad everyone had such a wonderful time, and I received so many compliments on the decorations of the wedding and reception. I told my husband that I would really like to do this again someday for one of our anniversaries, and he agreed that it’s a good idea.

There is the most adorable picture of our little flower girl dancing with the very elegant ring boy, our bride and grooms first dance together, and all of our guests having a great time on the dance floor.
The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. I plan on having another wedding ceremony and reception for our anniversary one year and I was so glad to hear that my wonderful husband thinks that’s a fantastic idea.

Making the right choice when it comes to cheap wedding favors

But I also considered having a traditional wedding. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.

This would of helped in my planning if I would have known about all ideas on the computer. I knew if I had a purpose for the unique wedding idea selection, then it would be the storybook wedding. My favorite is where the bride is wearing the pants and also the one that is amusing to me is the one that the bride is hooking the groom with a fishing pole. There were also more romantic toppers to choose from too, like the gorgeous heart or floral cake toppers.
Back in my day when we were married we did not have a lot choices, but it would have been great if they did. This would have allowed me to have my storybook wedding the way I wanted to plan it. Today the couples getting married can plan there wedding with great memories that will last a lifetime.
