My fiance and I set the date for our wedding in January, because I had my heart set on a winter wonderland ceremony and reception. More than enough products are available to help fulfill any bride’s wish for a wedding with a winter genre. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. The unity candle was surrounded by other candles with a winter style to them, along with simulated snowflakes on the altar. At the reception we had white tablecloths with red table runners on each and every reception table there. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. Whether we use them as ornaments or place card holders, they look fabulous, and they can be used for either. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. Small snowflakes in shades of blue and white were on the handles. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
For the special wedding flute, we had beautifully designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true,for both of us. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. I not only found things for our wedding, but they also had items I could use on our honeymoon. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
