An Online Shop for Glass Favors!

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Wine glass favorscrystal party favors and so many more to choose from that are all so lovely and make excellent gifts for friends and family at your wedding reception. I particularly liked the wine glasses and the gorgeous champagne flute favors. It’s really hard to make up your mind when there are so many glass favors to choose from. My future sister in law clued me into shopping online. She said that’s where she goes for all of her party needs. They even have accessories and supplies for birthday parties, communions and lots more happy events. You should get a look at all the beautiful bridal accessories they have, like the bridal jewelry and the hair accessories. They are absolutely fantastic and so are the low prices. They make everything so affordable that it’s hard to pass it up. There are even collection sets that have from five to eight of the wedding accessories you would need, like the wedding guest book, pen set and even classy bride and groom champagne flutes.

For a surprisingly low price, I picked up a matching set with a garter for the wedding, a basket for the flower girl, a pillow for the ring bearer, and a sign in book and pen for the guests. There was an enormous selection of wedding apparel available, including things like the combs for the wedding and the sparkling tiara that I picked out. The items I bought for the reception dinner were all ordered over the net; all I had to do was sit and wait for them to show up at my door. That sure saved wear and tear on my nerves and my legs, not to mention all the money I saved by ordering a few of the discount accessories. Our wedding cake topper was a unique custom made topper that had the bride and groom figurines look exactly like us. This was the perfect topper for our wedding and it makes the best keepsake of all. I also ordered a beautiful cake serving set with crystal handles and champagne toasting flutes that had bride and groom printed on them. We picked out champagne glass wedding favors as an added thank you for our family and good friends.  For all of the gentlemen who were at our wedding, we bought shot glass wedding favors, and for all of our lady wedding guests, we bought crystal wedding favors. There was a keychain with a small crystal container on it for perfume that served as the womens’ gifts; that would always have an extra supply of perfume handy to keep them smelling nice. It struck me as a brilliant little concept. They come packaged in their own little silver boxes with a beautiful bow and matching hang tags. The place card holders for the reception were attractive and unusual as well. They were little clusters of grapes, made of glass and the place card fit right in the center of the grapes. They really added lustre to the reception tables.
They have a lot of neat glass favors for events other than weddings as well. Like baby showers and wedding shower parties. Some very attractive examples included ones with baby designs, like shoes and strollers. I will have the hostess check out this website when I ultimately have the baby shower that I anticipate having some day. I was not limited by the selection, and I got some awesome deals. The money you save can always be put to good use, especially when you’re in the beginning stages of marriage.

Exquisite Hearts Wedding Favor!

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

Is there any more effective way to express your love than to get married with a ceremony in the same month as Valentine’s Day? That’s what I decided to do, have a ceremony and reception filled with one of the most adorned symbols of love throughout our ceremony and reception party. I started it off with the loveliest tiara that I ran across online. There were many wonderful decorations and supplies to choose from, such as the invitations I bought. The cards we used as wedding invitations had a pair of hearts on the front of them, both silver. The only thing I really had to do was write in the information, like the place and the date, and the rest was already filled out in beautiful calligraphy when we got them.
But that was only the beginning, after I mailed out the invitations I had to start planning the décor and ordering the supplies I would need. I selected a red velvet set of ribbons and bows that I would put on the end of and string between the church pews. The altar was beautifully decorated, with wonderful candle holders and candles, including our unity candle which was adorned with a heart made of red roses. We used red roses all over the wedding ceremony, like in my bouquet, where they were mixed with pink roses, and throughout the church. It may have been a touch extravagant, but I’ve always wanted to have doves released as we left the church building, so we did, and it I thought it was wonderful.
The whole ceremony was like that in a dream. Me with my handsome groom and all my friends and family around was the most important and special day of my life. I was so happy with all the fantastic hearts wedding decorations we had for the ceremony. It really added a touch of romance to an already romantic afternoon. I’ve heard that heart weddings were something special, but this was more than I had hoped for. Not only was the wedding ceremony fantastic, but so was our wedding reception. Everything there screamed of romance and love, right down to our heart favor gifts for our friends and family. Even our wedding cake was exquisite. It was truly a work of art with all the lovely flowers and the gorgeous cake topper. It was all like a dream come true.

The tables that our reception each had a floral arrangement of pink, red, and white roses with small hearts mixed in with them in the center of the table. On each of the reception tables were little two hearts wedding candles to set the romantic mood of the theme I had chosen, and at each setting was the nicest place card holder I could find. The wedding favors we got our guests should be a terrific souvenir from our wedding; they had handles in the shape of a heart attached to tiny silver bells. Our wedding cake was decorated with little hearts all around the bottom layer and little tiny pink and red roses trimmed each layer. There was a porcelain wedding cake topper, colored white, that fit in with our hearts wedding cake and the rest of our cake adornments beautifully.
Everything at our wedding and reception was the perfect picture of a true valentines day wedding with all the hearts and flowers imaginable. I’m just glad I had the internet to turn to, it made everything so much easier.

Keeping Up With Bridal Fashion

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

As soon as we set our wedding date, I got busy with my planning and shopping for everything I needed. I’m a dedicated online shopper and so, of course, that’s the first place I went to find what I needed. I’m glad I did too, with all they had to offer there was no problem finding everything I needed to plan the perfect wedding and reception. From invitations to fantastic wedding favors gifts for our guests, they had it all.
We had no problem choosing the theme we wanted for our wedding and reception, it had to be a beach theme. We’ve always lived near the water, even as kids and it has been a favorite place of ours and our friends for years.
I ordered beach invitations right away so they would be on their way to our friends and family, first thing. All the guests we invited said they would be there and that they can hardly wait to watch us walk down the aisle. My wedding accessories were the next thing on my list that I would need. Shopping online has almost become a hobby for me, but even I couldn’t believe what a wonderful selection they had to offer. The first thing ordered was the exquisite hair comb and tiara to wear on my wedding day. The wedding jewelry I found was just as gorgeous as the hair accessories I chose. My floor length wedding dress and the lovely necklace and earring set I ordered for my wedding day looked fantastic together. All my bridesmaids wore short summer dresses as did my flower girl, but I opted for a long gown with lightweight material. The pearls and crystals on the necklace set really added to the elegance of my wedding dress.
They really had a lot of super bridal accessories that fit right in with the bridal fashion of today and with all the discount and wholesale deals I found we did pretty good about sticking to our wedding budget. I got my wedding and bridal hair accessories and everything else I needed for our ceremony at some very remarkable prices. There was also quite a bit of reception decor and supplies that I found reasonably priced too, that went so well with our beach motif. I only had a few other things to buy from the stores, most of what I bought was online.
There were tiki torches and those little white christmas lights everywhere and a dance floor my fiance had fixed there. On the reception tables there were seashells and starfish scattered about and place card holders that were adorable little sailboats. I didn’t want to give our guests some useless wedding favor that would be stuck in a drawer and forgotten, so we gave them beach themed picture frames as thank you gifts. I think the picture frames I chose were to their liking.
Our wedding table was beautifully set with beach themed champagne flutes, little beach tealights and lovely beach themed candles and holders. Our wedding cake topper was especially designed for a beach wedding just as all our other accessories for our reception. Our topper was a bride and groom taking a walk along the beach. I’m so glad they had all the supplies and bridal accessories we needed to plan the perfect beach wedding and reception. For those that weren’t into seafood, we made sure we had plenty of steaks and chicken for them. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. I kinda hated to leave the party for our honeymoon, everyone was having such a great time.
After we returned from our honeymoon, I had to get down to writing all the thank you notes to our guests. Whenever I want to remember my wedding day, I’ll take out my beach themed photo album and look at all the pictures we had taken.
